To learn more about our work with the Muslim community, please visit maternalminds.org or @maternal.minds</h3><p><strong>Job Opportunity: Group Support Facilitator</strong></p><p>Maternal Minds, a not-for-profit organization that supports the mental health and well-being of Muslim mothers and families, is seeking a Group Support Facilitator. The facilitator will support groups with the main leader, helping participants connect, share experiences, and work through challenges in a safe and respectful environment. Learn more about us at maternalminds.org.</p><p><strong>Type:</strong> Part-Time (In-Person)</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Create a safe, non-judgmental environment that encourages open communication and sharing of personal experiences.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of all participants.</li><li>Provide information and resources on relevant topics when appropriate.</li><li>Keep track of attendance, group progress, and any follow-up actions needed.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Background in Psychology, Women’s Studies, Social Work, or a related field.</li><li>Strong understanding of Muslim community needs.</li><li>Experience working with culturally diverse communities and a commitment to culturally sensitive practices.</li><li>Experience in group facilitation, counselling, social work, or a related field.</li><li>Knowledge of group dynamics and experience handling group challenges.</li><li>Excellent communication and active listening skills.</li></ul><p>For more information, you can email usadmin@maternalminds.org</p><p> We appreciate all applications, but please note we'll only contact candidates for interviews who meet the job requirements.
