Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a solid understanding of food safety practices. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled items while ensuring that all meals are cooked to perfection and served in a timely manner. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items on the grill according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill area and kitchen equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
• Assist in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
• Handle food items safely, ensuring proper storage and handling practices are followed.

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within the food industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills to interact with kitchen staff and management.
• A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques within the kitchen.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
