About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Graduate / Intern Architect
to join our design team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of architectural projects from concept through construction, gaining hands-on experience under the supervision of licensed architects. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, eager to learn, and committed to developing a professional career in architecture. This firm is well established in Canada with a strong portfolio of work across multiple sectors.
THE JOB
- Assist project teams in the preparation of drawings, 3D models, renderings, and presentations.
- Contribute to the development of design concepts, schematic layouts, and detailed documentation.
- Support coordination with consultants, contractors, and clients.
- Participate in site visits, field reviews, and construction administration activities.
- Research materials, building systems, and design standards as needed.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, local regulations, and firm standards.
- Collaborate closely with team members to deliver high-quality design outcomes on schedule.
What's Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program in Canada, with a high GPA result (3.3+)
- Possess a strong portfolio of work showing a high level of design sensibility
- Enrollment in an architectural internship or licensing program (preferred), or eligible to become enrolled.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or Rhino.
- Strong design, visualization, and technical drawing skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from senior staff.
