General Production Worker – Stacker/Assembler

Job Description

Join a dynamic team where you will be responsible for assembling and stacking metal cores, referring to blueprints and diagrams, and using various tools to ensure precision and quality in the assembly process.

Responsibilities

• Refer to blueprints and diagrams to guide the assembly process.
• Cut metal pieces to the specified length using table clamps.
• Stack metal pieces together and use epoxy to glue them to the base.
• Temporarily tape units to hold them together during assembly.
• Use hammers and shears to align the core and ensure proper assembly.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of assembly experience with transformers.
• Proficiency in reading and working from blueprints.
• Mechanical and electrical capabilities.
• Experience using hand and power tools.

Work Environment

You will work an afternoon shift from 3:15 pm to 11:45 pm, with initial training during the day for 2-3 weeks. This role is based in a small warehouse with 10-14 employees. All materials and tools are provided and organized for efficient work. Team collaboration is essential, and you should be comfortable working in smaller environments and be open to learning the electrical aspects of the job. The facility offers good lighting and can be a bit dusty.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 – $22.00/hr.
