As part of the family of restaurants under Foodtastic, Milestones is a leading contemporary casual dining experience in Canada.</p><p>We are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences through great food, genuine hospitality, and a vibrant atmosphere.</p><p>We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our Milestones team in London, ON.</p><p>Job Summary</p><p>As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations including team leadership, guest satisfaction, financial performance, and maintaining a high standard of food quality and service. You will inspire and motivate your team to uphold Milestones' brand values and exceed guest expectations.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing team to deliver outstanding service and operational excellence.</li><li>Drive sales and profitability by developing and executing strategic plans and local marketing initiatives.</li><li>Ensure adherence to all operational standards, policies, and procedures including health & safety regulations.</li><li>Manage inventory, cost controls, and labor scheduling to maximize efficiency.</li><li>Recruit, train, and develop team members while fostering a positive, engaging work environment.</li><li>Handle guest concerns and feedback professionally, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.</li><li>Maintain a strong presence on the floor to lead by example and support team performance.</li><li>Collaborate with Regional Managers and support teams to ensure alignment with brand standards and goals.</li></ul><p>Job Requirements</p><ul><li>Minimum 5 years hospitality industry experience in a leadership role (General Manager or Senior Manager) Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or Business Management and/or proven personal commitment to professional development an asset</li><li>Proven success with both people development in leadership positions and long-term sales growth</li><li>Proven ability to achieve results through others</li><li>Demonstrates ability to attract and retain excellent performers and to develop high performing teams</li><li>Leadership and communication:</li><li>Has a leadership style that is developmental vs. policing, promotes a culture of dialogue, role models values and practices of the company</li><li>Proven entrepreneurial spirit through having presence "on the floor" and in the community</li><li>The successful candidate is expected to be a leader in demonstrating behaviours consistent with Milestones Culture Statement 'We Create Perfect Guest Experiences Because We Genuinely Care About Our Guests'.</li></ul><p>If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply online todayWe thank all applicants for their interest in joining the Milestones team; however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
