General Labourer

We are looking for a hardworking, independent individual to be a part of the company for the 2025 landscaping season (and beyond). The position begins as soon as the snow melts, end of April beginning of May. Qualified individuals have a chance at being part of our team.

Work Conditions:

* Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, and materials

*Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis

*Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold

*Plan and manage the loading/unloading of trucks and trailers in the AM and PM including the people, equipment and materials required to complete daily objectives

*Requires good manual dexterity

* Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift

Summary

As a General Labourer, you will be essential in supporting various landscaping and maintenance projects. Reporting to the site supervisor, your role involves performing heavy lifting and utilizing hand and power tools to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Additionally, your relevant experience in construction will contribute to the overall success of our operations. Qualifications

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for various tasks
• Familiarity with construction practices and safety protocols
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
• Experience with excavators and skid steer
• Drive trucks, tow trailers and reverse trailers.

Experience:

• Landscape Construction: 1 year (preferred)
• Some Type of Construction: 1 year (preferred)
• Operating Equipment: 1 year (preferred)
• Driving truck and trailers: 1 year (required)
• Valid G’ Driving license
• Lay Interlock paving stones.
• Build retaining walls.
• Dig out and remove fill.
• Install, grade and compact aggregates.
• Set grade.
• Install sod.
• Cut precast concrete materials and natural stone.
• Operate Skid steers and Mini Excavators.
• Drive trucks, tow trailers and reverse trailers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
