Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Gas Station Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and maintaining the smooth operation of our gas station. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with fuel purchases, managing transactions, and ensuring the cleanliness of the station. A positive attitude and strong communication skills are key to succeeding in this position.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their fuel purchases.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including restrooms and convenience store areas.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately while adhering to company policies.
  • Assist with stocking shelves and inventory management as needed.
  • Promote additional products or services available at the station, including snacks, beverages, and technology sales.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers.
  • Familiarity with POS systems or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Bilingual candidates are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
  • Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries or customer calls.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy work environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
