Experience
3 to 5 years of experience in metal fabrication or related field
Previous supervisory/leadership experience is an asset
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of metal fabricators, welders, and general laborers
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan work activities
Ensure fabrication work meets quality standards, project timelines, and safety regulations
Train and mentor staff in proper use of equipment, tools, and safety procedures
Allocate materials and resources efficiently to maximize productivity
Inspect completed work for accuracy and compliance with specifications
Prepare work progress reports and maintain production records
Enforce safety rules and promote a safe working environment
