<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><p><strong>As a Field Service Technician, you will be based out of the Fraser Valley facility and spend 75% of your time travelling the globe working on a wide range of marine vessels, from navy ships to some of the largest, luxury yachts in the world. This role is for someone who thrives on problem solving and finding solutions.</strong></p><p><strong>You will:</strong></p><ul><li>Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining marine products on a wide range of vessels including windows, doors, hatches, and cranes</li><li>Providing exceptional customer service and technical support to customers to resolve any issues as quickly and efficiently as possible </li><li>Coordinating with Sales Support to ensure a timely response to customer in-field service needs</li><li>Assisting in costing, scheduling, and preparing quotes for in-field service requests </li><li>Providing technical support to other Field Service Technicians </li><li>Travelling to international and local locations to provide support to customers </li></ul><p><strong>You have:</strong></p><ul><li>3-5 years’ experience in equipment manufacturing, installation and/or repair </li><li>Formal training or certifications related to Glazing, Electrical including PLC programming and diagnostics and or Hydraulics </li><li>General Mechanical aptitude desirable</li><li>Experience in the Automotive or Marine Glass Industry is an asset - installation, maintenance</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and experience in either:<ul><li>Direct bond glazing, glass/window, or door installation or</li><li>Electrical and hydraulic systems - installation, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs</li></ul></li><li>Certification or training in PLC Programming or Electronics is an asset</li><li>High level of professionalism including appearance, communication, and attitude to be a customer facing representative of the company</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Exceptional problem-solving skills and able to work independently and under pressure</li><li>Strong organization skills with the proven ability to complete documentation, reports, and updates in required systems </li><li>Previous experience travelling and able and willing to travel internationally up to 75% of the time </li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude including understanding how moving pieces work together and how to fix a mechanical problem </li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li><li>Strong understanding of Service & Warranty process</li><li>Experience working with an ERP system </li><li>Strong basic skills in math and geometry, measuring devices & metrology </li><li>Light fabrication experience with Steel and/or Aluminum is an asset</li><li>Detailed oriented and the ability to prioritize effectively</li><li>Positive outgoing attitude; with a professional demeanor </li><li>Your integrity is admired by those around you,</li><li>You radiate positive energy and have an outgoing personality,</li><li>You are driven and enjoy some autonomy in a position,</li><li>You are interested in this role but also aspire to grow.</li></ul></p></p></p>
