<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>EWM SAP Functional Consultant Data Migration Specialist</strong><br><br><strong>Position Overview</strong><br />We are seeking an experienced <strong>SAP Functional Consultant</strong> with expertise in <strong>EWM</strong> to play a key functional role in supporting SAP <strong>data migration activities</strong>. In this position, you will collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure accurate and timely migration of data into SAP S/4 HANA. You will leverage your functional expertise to guide data mapping, define transformation rules, and validate the migrated data in alignment with business requirements.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br /><ul><li><strong>Blueprinting and Workshops</strong>: Collaborate with business users to gather and document requirements for data migration specific to your functional area (e.g., Finance, Sales, Production, Quality, Materials, or Maintenance).</li><li><strong>Data Mapping and Transformation</strong>:</li><li>Define and document field mappings and transformation rules for migrating legacy data into SAP S/4 HANA.</li><li>Provide functional input to technical teams for data transformation and cleansing activities.</li><li><strong>Data Validation and Quality Assurance</strong>:</li><li>Analyze legacy data for completeness and quality, and perform functional validation of migrated data to ensure it meets business expectations.</li><li>Identify and resolve data discrepancies, duplicates, or gaps during migration testing.</li><li><strong>Testing and Issue Resolution</strong>:</li><li>Lead functional testing of migrated data, including integration testing with other SAP modules.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues in collaboration with technical and business teams.</li><li><strong>Collaboration Across Teams</strong>: Work closely with the data migration team, project managers, and other SAP module specialists to support migration timelines and deliverables.</li><li><strong>User Support and Training</strong>: Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training to business users on data migration processes and tools.</li></ul><br /><strong>Job Requirements</strong><br /><ul><li><strong>5+ years</strong> of overall SAP experience, with expertise in one functional module.</li><li><strong>2+ years</strong> of hands-on experience in SAP S/4 HANA data migration projects.</li><li>Proven experience with data migration of master and transactional data in your module, such as:<ul><li><strong>SD</strong>: Sales Orders, Billing Data, and Delivery Records, or</li><li><strong>FICO</strong>: G/L Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Assets, or</li><li><strong>PP</strong>: BOMs, Work Centers, and Production Data, or</li><li><strong>QM</strong>: Inspection Plans, Quality Notifications, and Results, or</li><li><strong>MM</strong>: Material Masters, Procurement Data, and Inventory, or</li><li><strong>EWM</strong>: Warehouse Movements and Inventory Records, or</li><li><strong>PM</strong>: Equipment Records, Maintenance Orders, and Notifications.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Technical Tools</strong>: Familiarity with data migration tools such as <strong>SAP BODS/IS</strong>, <strong>Syniti (BackOffice ADM/ADMM)</strong>, or <strong>SAP S/4 HANA Migration Cockpit</strong>.</li><li>Ability to document migration requirements, field mappings, and transformation logic.</li></ul><br /><strong>Skills</strong><br /><ul><li><strong>Functional Expertise</strong>: Strong knowledge of your SAP module, including relevant data structures and integration points.</li><li><strong>Data Migration Knowledge</strong>: Understanding of data migration processes, data quality principles, and SAP best practices.</li><li><strong>Analytical & Problem-Solving</strong>: Ability to identify and resolve data-related issues efficiently.</li><li><strong>Communication & Collaboration</strong>: Strong ability to work across teams, bridging technical and business requirements.</li><li><strong>Project Contribution</strong>: Experience working on large-scale SAP implementations or rollouts with a focus on data migration.</li></ul><br /><strong>Languages</strong><br /><ul><li><strong>English fluency</strong> is mandatory.</li></ul><br /><strong>Why Join Us?</strong><br />At <strong>Bridge Atlantic</strong>, youll be joining a fast-growing company at the forefront of SAP implementations and data transformation projects.
