Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Entry-Level Construction Laborer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in construction and prefab manufacturing.

The Laborer will support framers, carpenters, and shop teams with day-to-day tasks both in the manufacturing facility and on job sites. No formal experience is required—a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to safety are essential.

Duties

  • Assist framers and carpenters with prefab assembly and on-site construction tasks
  • Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment
  • Use basic hand tools and power tools under supervision
  • Help with measuring, cutting, fastening, and assembling wood components
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and supervisor instructions
  • Support shop production and on-site installation as required
  • Travel to job sites when needed (in or out of town)

Requirements

  • No prior construction experience required (training provided)
  • Interest in construction, carpentry, or prefab manufacturing
  • Ability to safely lift heavy materials and perform physical labor
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and in various weather conditions in town & out of town
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take direction
  • Strong teamwork, reliability, and punctuality
  • Commitment to workplace safety
  • Experience with hand tools or construction is an asset but not required
  • Knowledge of prefab or woodworking is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$28.00 per hour
