Job Title: Enterprise Architect – Software & Platform Solutions
Location: Montreal, Toronto, or Ottawa (hybrid work model)
Preferred: Bilingual candidates (English and French)

Role Overview
An accomplished Enterprise Architect is needed to help guide the strategic direction of software and platform architecture within a modern, innovation-driven technology environment. This individual will translate organizational needs into scalable technical solutions and influence long-term architectural vision. The role supports a flexible hybrid schedule and involves close collaboration with teams across multiple offices.

Key Responsibilities
• Define and articulate a cohesive enterprise architecture strategy that supports overall business goals.
• Lead the transition toward a more business-focused architectural approach.
• Integrate architectural practices with data governance, risk management, and information security frameworks.
• Create and maintain both current-state and future-state architectures for major programs, platforms, and system deployments.
• Develop high-level architecture diagrams showing how business processes, data, applications, and infrastructure interrelate.
• Ensure all architectural designs adhere to internal standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and uphold architecture governance processes and policies.
• Evaluate new and emerging technologies and determine their relevance to the organization.
• Provide coaching and leadership to architects, product leaders, and business teams on architectural principles.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business and technology domains.

Must Have Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture or in strategic/operational roles tied to architecture.
• A minimum of 10 years of technical or solution architecture experience, including hands-on application development.
• Solid understanding of SaaS solutions, cloud environments, on-premises systems, and hybrid architectures.
• Knowledge of business and financial models, including cost analysis and risk assessment.
• Experience with enterprise architecture tools, frameworks, and modeling methodologies.
• Strong leadership abilities with skills in collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation.

• Strong organizational awareness and ability to navigate complex environments.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance immediate needs and long-term vision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bilingualism in English and French is a notable advantage.
