Enterprise Architect - Azure
Job Description
We're partnering with a leading public-sector organization in British Columbia looking for an Enterprise Architect to provide strategic and technical leadership across their enterprise technology landscape.
This role will play a key part in ensuring the organization's business strategy is supported through scalable, secure, and sustainable cloud architecture on Microsoft Azure.
This is a 1 year contract with potential to extend - hybrid in Vancouver.
What you'll do:
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, roadmaps, and business architecture artifacts.
- Align business strategy with IT capabilities and long-term technology investments.
- Oversee solution, data, application, and technology architectures across domains.
- Govern technology standards, integration patterns, and architectural principles.
- Partner with senior leadership to guide modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance to project and development teams through governance processes.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
What you bring:
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect with strong knowledge of Azure architecture and services.
- Background in developing enterprise-level roadmaps and architecture blueprints.
- Deep understanding of solution, data, and application architecture design.
- Ability to translate complex business goals into actionable technology strategies.
- Experience engaging with executive stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with architecture governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
