Start date and EFT can be negotiated. BRHC has a 21-bed Emergency Department staffed 24/7 by at least one physician. There are 12 hours of double coverage with two physicians on site. On-call services include general surgery, obstetrics, and anesthesia. Respiratory therapy is available from 0800-1600, Monday to Friday.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Medical Degree with postgraduate training in Family Medicine or Royal College Certification in Emergency Medicine</li><li>Preferred: Postgraduate training in Family Medicine with Certificate of Added Competency in Emergency Medicine</li></ul><ul><li>Required licensure: Medical Degree with post-graduate training or certification as above</li><li>ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP</li><li>Procedural Sedation</li><li>PoCUS with EDE1 or equivalent</li><li>AIME or equivalent airway management course</li></ul><h3>Remuneration and Hours</h3><p>In accordance with the provincial contract, including:</p><ul><li>Negotiated agreement with Doctors Manitoba and Shared Health</li><li>Part-time EFTs available</li><li>Casual shifts available</li><li>Shifts of 6, 8, or 12 hours</li></ul><h3>Application Instructions</h3><p>Physicians should submit a CV highlighting ED training (e.g., CCFP-EM), experience, current certification in PALS, ACLS, NRP, and ATLS.
