Licensed Industrial and Commercial Electrician

JDass is a growing business group looking to hire full time Licensed Electrician who can work independently and is a great team player. We believe that as an Electrician, you are a key member of the team. Our area of work is new construction and existing buildings, repair, maintenance and service of electrical infrastructure and electrical equipment. With a strong reputation for quality and reliability, we specialize in new builds and renovation projects. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced licensed electrician to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
As an experienced Industrial and Commercial Electrician at JDass Developments you will be responsible for:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings.
- Working on new build projects and renovation of existing structures.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensuring all electrical work complies with national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
- Diagnosing electrical issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure project completion on schedule.
- Working extensively with BX (armored) wiring, ensuring proper installation and maintenance.
- Working extensively with EMT (Electrical Metallic Tubing) conduit, ensuring proper installation and maintenance.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all job sites.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of electrician experience is required.
- Proven experience in industrial and commercial electrical work.
- Expertise in new builds and renovation projects.
- Strong knowledge of BX (armored) wiring and EMT (Electrical Metallic Tubing) conduit systems, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments (indoors, outdoors, at heights).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are a must.
Experience:
Electrician: 5 years (preferred)
