Position- Duck Creek Billing Lead Developer

Location- Mississauga, ON, Canada (100% Remote)

Type- Fulltime


Required Experience: 10+ Years

Technical Skills (Primary):

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT with at least 5 years in Duck Creek Billing development
  • Strong hands-on experience with Duck Creek Author Express and Manuscript tools
  • Deep understanding of insurance domain concepts especially PC Property Casualty
  • Lead the design development and implementation of Duck Creek Billing solutions
  • Collaborate with business analyst's architects and client stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team
  • Ensure high-quality code delivery and adherence to best practices and coding standards
  • Conduct code reviews performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for the client
  • Participate in solution architecture discussions and provide strategic input
  • Support integration with third-party systems and legacy platforms

Technical Skills (Secondary, Nice to have NOT MANDATORY):

  • Proficiency in SQL and ability to write complex queries for data validation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Soft Skills:

  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong ability to work with client stakeholders mid and Senior level
  • Requirement Review and Work Effort Estimation
