<p><strong>Drywall Superintendent</strong></p><p><br></p><p>This is a unique Drywall Superintendent role with a well-known builder. This role requires a willingness to complete night work when the project requires it (such as occupied spaces). There is room for growth as this role could lead to a Senior role within the company's drywall division, with Forepersons beneath you leading their own jobs.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Company:</strong></p><p>This company occupies a unique space in the industry. They are extremely successful and well known. You will join a smaller tight-knit team within the larger company. Typical projects include TIs, warehouses, courthouses and new builds with drywall budgets from $500k to $3M. Current and near future projects include Coquitlam, Langley and Vancouver locations. This is a new role created to grow the team and set the team up for future growth.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>You will lead your projects as the Drywall Superintendent, overseeing the schedule and communications with the GC Superintendent(s)</li><li>Communicate clearly with the Project Manager to ensure smooth project delivery</li><li>Lead a crew of 2 to 20 depending on the size of each site, with 1 to 2 ongoing sites at a time</li><li>You will be expected to jump on the tools (be hands-on) when needed</li><li>You with report to the General Superintendent</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>You must be a drywall expert and experienced in working alongside structural engineers during value engineering</li><li>Strong with reviewing shop drawings, on-site layout and field verifications</li><li>Experienced with running drywall crews and being the lead drywall Supervisor on-site</li><li>Skills with MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office (Outlook, Excel) are an asset</li><li>A willingness to work nights when required by the project</li><li>Training and certification in Drywall (Lathing) is an asset, but experience is more important</li><li>A track record of solid tenure in your career</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><ul><li>Salary: $100,000 to $110,000 ($80,000 for a Drywall Foreman)</li><li>Bonus eligible role</li><li>Vacation: 2 - 3 weeks</li><li>Strong benefits package</li><li>RRSP matching program (for Superintendent, not for a Foreman)</li><li>Mileage reimbursement for in day driving (between sites)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>How to Apply:</strong></p><p>Apply on this page or email your resume to mark@supersinc.ca</p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
