<p><b>POSITION SUMMARY</b></p><p><br></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Senior Drafter to join our team and support the delivery of high-end residential and commercial projects. This role collaborates directly with architects, interior designers, and engineers to transform innovative design concepts into accurate technical drawings and documentation. The Senior Drafter will be responsible for ensuring design intent is clearly represented through working drawings, visual aids, and coordination documents. Success in this position requires expert-level proficiency in Revit, strong technical accuracy, and a meticulous eye for detail to uphold the firm’s standard of excellence on multi-million-dollar projects.</p><p><br></p><p><b>ABOUT THE COMPANY</b></p><p>At Hedgeford & Berkley, we design for people who expect results. Through bold design and focused execution, we build homes that work as hard as they do.</p><p><br></p><p><b>OBJECTIVES</b></p><ul><li>Develop and refine architectural and interior design drawings in Revit with precision and efficiency</li><li>Create visual aids and diagrams that clearly communicate design intent to stakeholders</li><li>Produce accurate working drawings to support construction documentation and permitting requirements</li><li>Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure seamless integration of technical details</li><li>Maintain accuracy and consistency across all project documentation through diligent software use</li><li>Utilize rendering tools such as Lumion, Twinmotion, D5, and Enscape to generate compelling visual presentations</li><li>Coordinate with design teams during internal reviews to refine Revit models and improve project outcomes</li><li>Apply software knowledge to streamline workflows, manage project files, and meet strict deadlines</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>COMPETENCIES</b></p><ul><li>Expert-level proficiency in Revit for drafting, modeling, and design detailing</li><li>Skilled in AutoCAD for technical drawings and supplementary documentation</li><li>Proficient in rendering software (Lumion, Twinmotion, D5, Enscape) to produce high-quality visualizations</li><li>Adept at leveraging Google Suite for collaboration, documentation, and project management</li><li>Strong ability to interpret and apply building codes within software outputs, particularly in CA, NV, FL, and AZ</li><li>Capable of integrating design intent with construction requirements through precise digital modeling</li><li>Organized in managing digital project files and ensuring consistency across multiple platforms</li><li>Demonstrated ability to adapt software skills to evolving project needs, balancing technical accuracy with design creativity</li></ul><p><b>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</b></p><ul><li>7+ years of experience in architecture, interior design, or engineering</li><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related design or technical field</li><li>Familiarity in PRevit, AutoCAD, Lumion, Twinmotion, D5, Enscape and Google Suite</li></ul><p><b>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</b></p><ul><li>Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods while working on a computer or reviewing design documents</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY</b></p><p>As an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting the needs of a multigenerational and multicultural workforce, Hedgeford & Berkley recognizes that a diverse staff, reflective of our community, is an integral and welcome part of a successful and ethical business.
