<p><b>You as a Divisional Controller, Oxford will:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead the accounting departments (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sales Tax, and Accounting).</li>
<li>Prepare Oxford Builders’ financial statements and consolidated reporting for Head Office.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with GAAP (ASPE), corporate policies, and external audit requirements.</li>
<li>Oversee month end and year end close processes.</li>
<li>Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
<ul>
<li>Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.</li>
<li>Provide variance analysis, financial insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.</li>
<li>Conduct financial analysis to support decision making, capital investments, and growth opportunities.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Internal Controls & Compliance
<ul>
<li>Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures</li>
<li>Manage and oversee external audits and government reporting requirements.</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to sales tax legislation, and reporting other reporting requirements.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Systems, Processes & Expansion
<ul>
<li>Implement accounting system changes and improve existing processes.</li>
<li>Partner with operations leadership to integrate technology and reporting tools across departments.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Capital & Asset Management
<ul>
<li>Manage capital expenditures, fixed assets, and inventory controls.</li>
<li>Monitor cash flow and financial risk management.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Strategic Leadership & Partnership
<ul>
<li>Provide financial and strategic input on business planning, operations, and growth initiatives.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Manage, train, mentor, and develop a growing accounting team.</li>
<li>Foster a high performance, collaborative team culture.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Is this the right role for you?</b></p>
<ul>
<li>You have a minimum of 5 years of progressive and relevant experience.</li>
<li>You hold a CPA designation.</li>
<li>You have a strong accounting background, with in‑depth experience in ASPE and/or IFRS.</li>
<li>Public accounting experience is an asset.</li>
<li>You possess strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.</li>
<li>You are a well‑organized, proactive and detail oriented individual able to self‑manage and work as part of a team in a dynamic fast paced environment.</li>
<li>You are a highly technical accountant that has strong attention to detail and can offer process improvements and innovative solutions.</li>
</ul>
