Compensation: $175K - $200K base salary + performance-based bonus
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced sales leader for the role of Director of Non-Traditional Marketing to lead and scale our outbound, people-driven marketing channels across British Columbia and Alaska. This role oversees Proxy (Canvassing), Events, Retail, and Home Shows, and is critical to driving lead volume, improving conversion quality, and building high-performing field teams.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands how to build, manage, and optimize large outbound sales organizations, thrives in performance-based environments, and brings strong business and financial acumen to the table. The ideal candidate knows how to balance strategy with in-the-field execution and financial discipline.
The ideal candidate lives in Vancouver, BC, is comfortable traveling regionally, and brings a strong track record of leading distributed teams at scale.
What Youll Do
Leadership & Strategy
Own strategy and execution for all Non-Traditional channels across BC and Alaska
Translate revenue and growth targets into actionable field plans and staffing models
Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align capacity, budgets, and performance
Team Management
Lead, develop, and scale large, multi-layered teams including managers, team leads, and frontline staff
Drive performance through clear expectations, coaching, scorecards, and accountability
Build a strong leadership bench and succession pipeline
Outbound & Field Execution
Optimize outbound sales tactics across door-to-door, retail, events, and home shows
Improve lead quality, demo rates, and cost efficiency through testing and iteration
Ensure consistent execution, messaging, and brand representation across regions
Performance & Reporting
Own KPIs including leads, demos, conversion rates, CPL, productivity, and attrition
Use data and reporting to diagnose issues, identify opportunities, and drive decisions
Partner with Marketing Ops and Finance to ensure clean attribution and accurate reporting
Hiring & Growth
Oversee hiring plans, onboarding, and training for expanding teams
Improve retention through strong leadership, clear career paths, and effective compensation models
What Were Looking For
Required
Based in Vancouver, BC
7+ years of experience leading outbound sales, field marketing, or canvassing teams
Proven success managing large, distributed teams across multiple locations
Strong business acumen, including experience writing, managing, and forecasting budgets
Demonstrated experience owning and managing P&L responsibility
Strong understanding of performance-based compensation, quotas, and coaching
Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance
Willingness to travel regularly across British Columbia and Alaska
Preferred
Experience in home services, retail, or appointment-driven sales environments
Experience scaling teams during periods of aggressive growth
Data-driven mindset with comfort using dashboards and performance reports
