Up to 50% off childcare costs for employeesCompetitive compensation package with stock optionsProgression opportunitiesFamily friendly cultureAbout the Opportunity Financial Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement financial strategies relating to revenues and in particular government subsidy programs that directly impact revenuesCollaborate with executive leadership and lead in various projects that will support financial goals and objectivesLead the annual budgeting process as it pertains to revenues and ongoing revenue forecasting effortsEvaluate and recommend new initiatives and financial reporting metrics to drive organizational success Financial Management and Treasury:Oversee all aspects of financial reporting/analysis and budgeting as it pertains to revenues as well as tax and audit management oversightEnsure accurate and timely preparation and submission of government required subsidy and grant formsMonitor financial health indicators as it pertains to revenues and collection of receivablesImplement financial controls and procedures based on analytical insights to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulations Risk Management and Audit Compliance:Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them as it pertains to government grants and subsidiesEnsure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standardsCoordinate all relevant audits and tax reviews, providing support as neededStay abreast of changes in financial regulations and industry standards Financial Analysis and Reporting – Revenues and Government Subsidies:Work with the Financial Reporting and Analysis team to develop and maintain financial models to assess business performance and forecast future trends as it pertains to revenues and government subsidiesPrepare financial reports and presentations for executive leadershipOversee various projects assigned by the CFO and provide recommendations to support sound decision making Leadership and Team Development:Lead and develop high-performing Accounts Receivable with oversight over our family management system (billing software).Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvementProvide guidance and mentorship to finance staff, promoting professional growth and developmentEncourage cross-functional collaboration to achieve organizational objectives Audit and Taxation:Collaborate with Ernst and Young to ensure compliance with all North American audit and corporate tax filing requirements.Managing and monitoring tax liabilities and ensuring timely paymentAbout You Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; CPA designation requiredProven experience (typically 5+ years) in financial reporting, analysis, and managementStrong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulationsEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholdersDemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teamsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesStrategic mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insightsProficiency in financial software (Quick Books) and Microsoft Office suite with strong excel skillsSalary Range $150,000 - $155,000/year How to Apply Click the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
