This full‑time, in‑person role is based at our corporate office in Edmonton, AB .

The Opportunity

Based at our Edmonton Corporate Office and reporting to the President & CEO, the Director, Finance & Accounting will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team. This role will oversee the financial health of Booster Juice and play a critical role in strategic planning, decision‑making, and long‑term growth. You'll lead a dedicated finance team, manage fiscal operations, and collaborate cross‑functionally to drive performance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of financial management—including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance—for Booster Juice’s group of companies.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision‑making and franchise development initiatives.
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain and continuously improve strong internal controls and financial policies.
• Lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors, and ensure compliance with regulatory financial reporting standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Franchising, Operations, Store Development, People & Culture, IT, and Marketing—to evaluate business opportunities and enhance financial performance.
• Improve financial systems, reporting tools, and key performance metrics to support organizational growth and scalability.
• Manage banking relationships and ensure fulfillment of reporting requirements.
• Oversee foreign exchange activities and effectively manage cash flow.
• Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing Finance team aligned with Booster Juice’s values and culture.

What You Bring to the Table

• CPA designation required; MBA or another advanced finance‑related credential is an asset
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance leadership roles, preferably in QSR, franchise, or multi‑unit retail environments
• Deep knowledge of Canadian financial regulations, GAAP, and best‑in‑class financial practices
• Proven experience leading budgeting processes, cost control initiatives, and strategic planning
• Strong systems knowledge (experience with ERP and financial reporting tools)
• A hands‑on leadership style with a balance of strategic insight and operational execution
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence at all levels
