<p><h3>Director, Business Enablement Program Delivery</h3><p>Location: Oshawa (on-site 5 days per week)</p><p>Contract: 12-24 months</p><p>Overview: Our client is seeking a Director, Business Enablement Program Delivery to lead enterprise-wide enablement programs aligned to modernization and digital transformation goals.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li><b>Enterprise Enablement Strategy:</b> Lead planning and execution of large-scale business enablement programs aligned to modernization and digital transformation objectives.</li><li><b>Cross-Functional Delivery Leadership:</b> Drive coordination across core business units (e.g., Finance, Operations, IT, Supply Chain) to ensure alignment, mitigate risk, and deliver on time.</li><li><b>Program Execution & Governance:</b> Own delivery outcomes and roadmaps; establish governance frameworks, manage risk (RAID), and support informed decision-making.</li><li>Implement and oversee frameworks to track KPIs, measure benefits, and close performance gaps against business cases.</li><li><b>Change Management & Adoption:</b> Lead enterprise adoption strategies with HR, business leaders, and external partners; focus on readiness, training, and long-term sustainability of changes.</li><li>Collaborate with external integrators and solution providers; oversee vendor performance, procurement activities, and contractual compliance.</li><li>Develop consistent methodologies, toolsets, and best practices across initiatives; drive Agile, hybrid, and user-centric delivery practices (e.g., Design Thinking, Lean).</li></ul><h3>Profile & Experience</h3><ul><li>10+ years in program leadership roles within large, matrixed organizations; experience in energy/utilities or similarly regulated industries is an asset.</li><li>Strong governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.</li><li>Familiar with modern delivery frameworks (Agile, hybrid, Waterfall).</li><li>Effective at driving both strategy and execution with measurable business impact.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.</li><li>Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Lean, Prosci) are considered strong assets.</li></ul><h3>Job Details</h3><ul><li>Seniority level: Director</li><li>Employment type: Contract</li><li>Job function: Accounting/Auditing</li><li>Industries: Electric Power Generation and Electric Power Transmission, Control, and Distribution</li></ul><p>Note: This description reflects the primary responsibilities and requirements for the role.
