Equation is recruiting an experienced Delivery driver for a busy client of ours located in Saskatoon, SK. This position is a full-time Monday to Friday position with alternate Saturdays as well. If this job sounds like something for you we would love to hear from you, Apply Today!
Responsibilities:
- Safely operating a 1-ton delivery vehicle to transport and deliver tires.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Loading and unloading the delivery vehicle, including the use of hand trucks and other equipment as needed.
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and documenting any issues.
- Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and representing the company in a professional manner.
Requirements:
- A valid class 3/5 driver's license and a clean driving record- 3 years' experience driving a Box Truck or Cube Van.
- Experience operating a larger delivery vehicle (Asset).
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities.
This position involves physical labor and the operation of heavy machinery, so you must be able to lift up to 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate various terrain and weather conditions.
