In this role, you will
- Develop and maintain complex database systems using PL/SQL and MS SQL Server.
- Be responsible for the integration of IBM Infosphere DataStage with MDM systems.
- Guide in Unix Shell Scripting to automate and streamline processes.
- Apply DataStage Scheduler to manage and schedule ETL processes efficiently.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and flow.
- Fix and resolve issues related to database performance and data integrity.
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science or related technical field.
- 7+ years of prior experience as a Developer or Technical Systems Analyst.
- 3+ years of work experience on Information Technology projects supporting an enterprise-wide environment.
- Deep technical experience working with IBM Data Stage, SQL and Shell scripting.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to transform business logic described in business requirements into solutions that include integration between DataStage servers and databases
What will help you stand out (preferred skills)
- Previous experience in Finance or FinTech
- Working knowledge of Confluence and/or Jira would be an asset.
- Experience with SCM tools such as GitHub, Subversion, CA Harvest would be an asset.
- Understanding of the Capital Markets trading and reference data and relationships.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in our client’s office in Toronto, ON.
