Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory ETL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Lake Store, and Azure Databricks.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of geospatial data solutions using Azure Synapse, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of ETL processes using Azure Data Factory to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.
• Provide expertise in managing and optimizing data storage solutions within Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Lake Store.
• Utilize Azure Databricks to perform advanced data analytics and machine learning tasks, driving actionable insights from geospatial data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data governance and validation processes.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data processes and solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of geospatial analytics.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and optimizations to ensure data solutions meet business needs.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for geospatial data management and analytics.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
