Customer Care Representative
1 year contract
Mississauga
Hybrid 3 days a week on-site, 2 days a week WFH
Pay rate: $25-32 per hour
Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Processes orders received from faxes or e-mails
Confirms account number, part number & descriptions
Communication to customer on availability, open orders, and ship dates
Confirms pricing & availability
Answer customer service inquiries, phones or emails as assigned and meets statistical expectations as set by supervisor
Supports administrative duties on sending and receiving supplier purchase orders
Ability to multi-task issuing credits and rebills according to policy and procedure
Prioritize projects/responsibilities and other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2 years experience in Customer Service within a manufacturing or distribution environment
Experience with full cycle order entry and working with parts
High level of attention to detail
Ability to extract correct information from purchase orders – recognize special requests
Ability to process large volumes of orders into ERP system daily
Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks
Ability to analyze problems and solve work related issues
High level of professionalism and solutions-based decisions
Team oriented with a solution mentality
Familiar with MS Word, Excel, Outlook (Microsoft Suite)
Working knowledge of ERP systems
Knowledge of Salesforce and/or SAP would be highly valuable
