<p><h3>Recruitment Advisor- Western Canada at Raise</h3><p>Pay Rate: $100.00/hour, depending on experience.</p>

<p>Rotation: 2 weeks in / 2 weeks out, 11 hours a day.</p>
<p>Company Charter Flights provided – Departing from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.</p>
<p>Contract Length: 1 Year.</p>
<p>Location: Cigar Lake, Saskatchewan.</p>
<p>Raise is currently hiring a <b>CSU Mechanical Discipline Lead</b> on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client is a Canadian global leader in exploration, mine engineering, and environmental protection.</p>
<p>Note: The primary pay rate is based on the rate for an incorporated contractor who owns their own business. However, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in a T4 arrangement, where applicable.</p>
<h3>Description</h3>
<p>The CSU Mechanical & Piping Lead in this role will be responsible for ensuring all work taken by him/herself or his/her crew is completed safely, abiding by all safety program requirements. This position is a working supervisor role who physically performs trade work while carrying the responsibility for direct supervision of trade crews performing work under him/her whenever required.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Modifying, repairing, testing, troubleshooting, and inspecting mechanical and piping installations including but not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Operating rigging equipment to place heavy parts.</li>
<li>Repairing, testing, and inspecting piping system components including modifying piping installations (connecting and disconnecting mechanical joints).</li>
<li>Setting, repairing, testing, and inspecting industrial mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, centrifuges, pressure vessels, conveyors, scales, and mining and milling equipment.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Identifying and documenting deficiencies; providing input and following up to ensure they are addressed and closed satisfactorily.</li>
<li>Completing Cameco defined commissioning documentation (e.g., check sheets, ITPs, and test reports).</li>
<li>Recording final and accurate as-built/as-left conditions on redline drawings, datasheets, and project documentation.</li>
<li>Participating in commissioning team meetings including daily toolbox, safety, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).</li>
<li>Supporting and providing input to development of detailed plans for execution of work.</li>
<li>Monitoring the schedule and productivity of work and collaborating to resolve issues and barriers.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Intermediate (4–9 yrs) or Senior (10+ yrs) of progressive, hands‑on experience in industrial mechanical installations, maintenance, and/or commissioning within a heavy industry environment (e.g., mining, power generation, oil & gas, or chemical processing).</li>
<li>Previous experience in a brown‑field commissioning environment is required.</li>
<li>Hands‑on proven experience in commissioning and start‑up activities is required.</li>
<li>Previous experience in a nuclear facility is preferred.</li>
<li>Extensive experience with the types of equipment listed in the responsibilities (pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, conveyors, piping systems).</li>
<li>Experience with reading and interpreting technical documents such as P&IDs, mechanical drawings, ITPs, and datasheets.</li>
<li>Proficient computer skills required.</li>
<li>Strong commitment to safety; demonstrated ability to lead by example and enforce strict safety standards and programs (e.g., JHA).</li>
<li>Education and Skills:</li>
<ul>
<li>Journeyperson Trade Certification in a relevant mechanical discipline (e.g., Millwright/Industrial Mechanic, Pipefitter, Steamfitter, or equivalent).</li>
<li>Supervisor training/certification is required.</li>
<li>CSO Designation.</li>
</ul>
</ul>
<h3>Additional Information</h3>
