Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join our team in a food warehouse specializing in chicken products. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse setting and a strong understanding of food safety standards, particularly in handling perishable goods like chicken.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the Counterbalance Forklift to efficiently move chicken products within the warehouse.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory, following temperature control guidelines to maintain food safety.
• Load and unload chicken products from delivery trucks, ensuring all items are handled safely and efficiently.
• Perform regular forklift inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory management, and unloading of goods in a timely manner.
• Follow all company policies and health and safety regulations for food storage environments.

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License.
• Previous experience working in a food warehouse, ideally handling chicken products.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and storage protocols.
• Ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy products.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings or weekends, as required.
