We are looking for an experienced Corporate Paralegal for our client. This is a full-time, permanent position that is based in the Vancouver area. Our client is a large company providing legal services to businesses based in North America and around the world.
You Have:
- 3+ years of related experience
- Experience working with AFL
- Familiarity with the incorporation process under the Corporations Act as well as experience with public companies and the Securities Act is required
- Ability to manage several files at once, a strong sense of planning and organization
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Minute book reviews
- Dealing with incorporation's including pre- and post-documentation; extra-provincial registrations across Canada
- Reviewing agreements relating to transactions
- Determine and draft required documentation
- Complete and summarize due diligence searches
- Organize and complete closing documentation and closing books
- Complete required provincial or federal corporate filings
