G. Home Comfort is looking for a Controller who is an adept and detail oriented with data and numbers and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

The selected candidate would be working either out of our Vaughan or Mississauga location depending on company needs and would be reporting directly to Ownership



Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage customer payments, deposits, and invoice sending
Identify and recommend operational efficiencies
Conduct weekly accounts receivable and financial summary reports
Preparation of accurate and timely financial statements
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts
Collaborate with bookkeeper for daily management of quick books
Monitor assets, approving asset purchases, optimizing resource allocation
Review commission and payroll reports to maintain accuracy
Contribute to financial analyses to support decision-making processes
Identify trends and opportunities for improvement in financial performance
Actively participate in process improvement initiatives
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Provide support for various financial initiatives and strategic projects
Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CGA, CMA, CA OR CPA designation
4-5 years of relevant experience in comparable role
Comfortable working in a fact faced environment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy



Job Types: Full-time, Permanent



Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
