Construction Site Supervisor
Employer: NEWERGY INDUSTRIES INC.
Location: Edmonton, AB T5T 4J5 (On site)
Salary: $37.00/hour, 30 to 40 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible
Employment Type: Permanent, Full‑time
Job Summary
The Construction Site Supervisor will oversee daily construction operations, manage laborers, ensure safety standards, and coordinate with subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Prepare production and other reports
- Supervise workers and projects
- Co‑ordinate and schedule activities
- Train or arrange for training
- Estimate costs and materials
- Read blueprints and drawings
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
- Oversee safety of operations
- Coordinate subcontractors’ activities
Qualifications
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of construction site supervision experience
- Valid driver’s licence
- English language proficiency
- Organized, reliable, team player
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experience reading blueprints and drawings
Working Conditions
- On site; no remote work available
- Construction site environment; various locations
- Physical demands: work under pressure, and may involve manual tasks
