<p><strong>Regular Full-Time</strong></p><p>Salary: <strong>Level 9 – $98,257.07 – $119,432.09</strong></p><p><strong>Robust Benefits and Pension Package</strong></p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Director of Language and Culture, this position provides a management role to Language programming and initiatives that support community language opportunities meet the goals in of revitalization which includes the Dän kʼè kwänjē Ghàkenīdän program team, language nest instructors, community language supports and other language related activities. This position provides operational management to CAFN language programing on a day-to-day basis and is an active participant in the development of the ongoing strategic vision of CAFN community language revitalization.</p><p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p><p>Successful completion of a relevant post-secondary degree with training in Education, Social Sciences, or Language is a benefit. Prior experience in a program and human resource management role is preferred. An equivalent combination of training and experience will be equally considered. Relevant work experience within the CAFN government is desired. Proficiency (spoken and written) in Southern Tutchone would be an asset. Experience using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, outlook and internet is required.</p><p><strong>Conditions of Employment:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid Yukon Class 5 driver’s license. Class 4 driver’s license is an asset</li><li>Criminal Records Check</li><li>Valid First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain</li><li>Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends, as required</li><li>Extended workdays/overtime may be required to accomplish tasks and meet workload demands during peak periods, as directed</li><li>Mandatory confidentiality is a condition of employment for all CAFN personnel</li><li>All Champagne and Aishihik First Nations employees are expected to conduct their duties in a harmonious and cooperative manner intended to enhance the First Nations efforts to build a strong and prosperous Government</li></ul><p><em>CAFN is an equal opportunity employer, however, qualified CAFN Citizens will be given priority and under-fills will be considered.
