Location: Southern Area Schools – New Liskeard (Temagami Public School, New Liskeard Public School, Timiskaming District Secondary School, Kerns Public School, Englehart High School, Englehart Public School, Elk Lake Public School)

Start date : as soon as possible


Vacancy Details: 1.0 (Permanent/full-time, 40 hours/week – 7:00am to 3:00pm)

Position Summary: The Maintenance-Carpenter performs skilled carpentry work in Board buildings in order to maintain a safe, and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors.


Qualifications :

– Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED) – Valid Ontario Trades Certificate is an asset – Locksmith experience would be an asset – Remains current in the knowledge and use of technology/resources available to achieve quality, service, and productivity. – 5 to 10 years of residential/commercial carpentry experience – Valid Ontario Drivers License – must have own vehicle to get to the work sites – Must have a current, Board approved, WHMIS certificate
