Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Cleaner will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both employees and clients.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs to management.
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all staff and visitors.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning or post-event clean-up.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any maintenance or repair needs.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Good physical stamina; ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects when necessary.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
