<p><h3>Overview</h3>
<p>Job Description: We currently have a job opening for a <b>Civil Engineering Technologist (NOC: 22300)</b> in our <b>Whitehorse</b> office to join our growing team. You will join a dynamic team of engineers and technologists to provide design and construction inspection for a variety of clients with a focus on roads, site servicing, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and stormwater management projects.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Creating 2D conceptual drawings.</li>
<li>Designing infrastructure, and commercial/land development projects with Civil 3D.</li>
<li>Creating conceptual and preliminary designs.</li>
<li>Preparing detailed design drawings.</li>
<li>Supporting with tender documents.</li>
<li>Supporting with engineering analysis.</li>
<li>Supporting with technical report submissions.</li>
<li>Conducting field surveys and data collection.</li>
<li>Performing construction inspection and assisting with contract administration.</li>
<li>Coordinating and communicating with multi-discipline project teams.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited post-secondary institution.</li>
<li>1+ years of relevant experience in civil design.</li> <li>Experience in using theodolite and level.</li>
<li>Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.</li>
<li>Valid Driver's License (required).</li>
<li>Experience with construction inspection is an asset.</li>
<li>Strong communication and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and quality.</li>
<li>Ability to work within tight deadlines and schedules.</li>
