Job Type: Part-Time

What will you be doing?
As a Preschool Sport Coach, you will ensure that all children are engaged, motivated and having fun while laying the groundwork for them to explore the world of sports. Responsibilities include:
• Developing lesson plans and leading preschool sport classes including tee ball, soccer, lacrosse, as well as multi-sport classes.
• Teaching fundamentals of sports: throwing, kicking, running, jumping, hopping and catching.
• Communicating with diverse groups of children and other staff.
• Conducting group lessons for children ages 2 – 5 years.
• Engaging, encouraging and motivating children to reach their goals.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• Must be certified in Early Childhood Education - Level 1, 2, or 3
• Must have experience with a variety of sports
• Must be able to work split shift (9AM-11AM) & (2:30PM-4:30PM)
• Access to a reliable vehicle and a driver’s license as travel is a requirement
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
• Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
• Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
