Our client is searching for a Chief Operating Officer with the drive, grit, and commercial mindset to power a rapidly expanding enterprise. As COO, this executive will be at the center of scaling global supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution, with a continued focus on how operational activities fuel commercial growth. The role oversees logistics and sourcing across international markets, builds collaborative vendor partnerships in Asia, and champions a culture where innovation, accountability, and results define success.


Reporting to the Owners and the Board, this leader will be responsible for ensuring that operational excellence matches the company’s pace of growth. The COO will bring structure, insight, and agility, ensuring that the business delivers consistently, efficiently, and profitably as it continues to expand across Canada, the United States, and beyond.


Key Responsibilities


  • Enable Commercial Success: Build and optimize operations that are tightly aligned with sales goals, ensuring every activity accelerates market impact and revenue growth.

  • Scale for Growth: Lead the expansion of supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution to support rapid business growth and evolving market needs.

  • Drive Performance: Establish and monitor KPIs that foster a disciplined, data‑driven culture focused on speed, efficiency, and accountability.

  • Champion Innovation: Guide product innovation, SKU expansion, and vertical integration, finding new ways to improve speed to market and operational agility.

  • Build Winning Teams: Recruit, reorganize, and inspire teams that embrace ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate Across the Business: Work closely with sales, product, and vendor operations to ensure operational strategies consistently enable commercial objectives.

  • Vendor Partnership Architect: Strong track record of building trusted relationships to enhance speed to market while optimizing cost and quality.

  • Global Perspective: Willing and able to travel internationally, including to China and the United States, several times per year.

  • Added Strengths: Experience with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is considered an asset.
