  • Deliver robust financial reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and performance analysis tailored to the construction sector (e.g., WIP, backlog, utilization, margins).
  • Provide data-driven insights to support executive decision-making.

Accounting, Controls & Compliance

  • Oversee core accounting functions including job costing, percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, AP/AR, payroll, and tax.
  • Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
  • Strengthen internal controls and scale financial processes to support continued growth.

Operational Finance & Technology

  • Optimize cash flow, working capital, and vendor relationships.
  • Evaluate and implement ERP and reporting systems (experience with Jonas, Sage 300, or Procore considered an asset).
  • Partner closely with operations to embed financial accountability across project teams and business units.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including 5+ years in a senior role within construction or industrial services.
  • Demonstrated success in M&A transactions, capital raises, and banking negotiations.
  • Strong knowledge of construction finance principles, including WIP management and percentage-of-completion accounting.
  • Advanced financial modeling, FP&A, and reporting capabilities.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and mentor finance teams.
  • Decisive, adaptable leader comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

What’s Offered:

  • Competitive executive compensation with performance-based bonus.
  • Opportunity to shape the financial future of a rapidly scaling construction organization.
