The Cash and Carry Associate will assist customers by educating them on our products and services, answering questions, taking and entering orders, utilizing & maintaining multiple software applications including online order guides and basic troubleshooting, interacting and working with Bunzl’s internal team including sales, service, procurement, warehouse & shipping, and management etc. as required to ensure our customers’ needs are met.

Shift: 8:00 A.M. – 5 P.M. Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a welcoming environment by greeting all customers as they walk through the doors
  • Provide a positive customer service experience by being fair and friendly and answer the questions they have.
  • Keeping knowledge up to date of all collections, product information, promotions, and rewards programs.
  • Maintain check in and check out operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
  • Receive, process, label, and store incoming stock by maintaining clear records on all inventory through inspection of all stock for damages.
  • Maintain relationship with the other departments in the organization and seek help when needed.
  • Maximize sales opportunities to achieve store targets and can cross sell products.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift 20 – 30 lbs.
  • Strong Computer Skills, including Microsoft Office and Windows-based software.
  • Minimum 1-2 years previous customer service experience.
  • Problem solver with the ability to multi-task using judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
