The CALC Programming Coordinator will be responsible for program support and development, data collection, analysis</p><p>and interpretation, and proposal development and funding identification. The incumbent will ensure that programming and practices are</p><p>rooted in respect, reciprocity, and relevance to Indigenous communities.</p><p><em>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</em><br><br>• Master's degree in Indigenous Studies or relevant Social Sciences and Humanities discipline; equivalent combination of education</p><p>and experience may be considered</p><ul><li>Minimum 1 year demonstrated experience with community-based research and program development</li><li>Experience with grant writing, specifically for tri-council funding</li><li>Experience working ethically with Indigenous communities</li><li>Experience in project management/coordination</li><li>Proficient problem solving and strategic planning skills</li><li>Ability to work effectively within a complex and fast-paced environment with staff and faculty</li><li>Excellent computer skills with Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365</li><li>Effective and culturally relevant communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Effective time management and organizational skills</li><li>Commitment to life-long learning</li></ul><p><em>ASSETS</em><br><br>• Has published peer-reviewed publications and or/conference proceedings</p><ul><li>Ability to speak an Indigenous language</li></ul><p><em>CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT</em><br><br>• Valid Class 5 Driver's license or equivalent as traveling will be required</p><ul><li>Candidates must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada</li></ul><p><em>Applicants are asked to provide a cover letter and resume with their application.
