We are currently hiring for a <strong>Business Transformation Specialist - AI and M&A </strong>for our global IT SaaS client in the Toronto area.</p> <p><strong>Role:</strong> <strong></strong>Business Transformation Specialist - AI and M&A<strong></strong></p> <p><strong>Type:</strong> Fulltime, Perm</p> <p><strong>Salary Range:</strong> $100,000 - $120,000 as base salary depending on overall experience + annual bonus + vacation + benefits + other great company perks s</p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Remote - Toronto, ON, Canada</p> <p><strong><br></strong></p> <p><strong>Job Description</strong><br><br></p> <p>What You'll Do:<br>In this role, you will enable our team to drive high-impact strategic initiatives spanning various areas, including:<strong><br>Innovation and Applied AI (50%):</strong> Partner with senior leaders to push innovation at our portfolio companies by developing frameworks, approaches, and use cases where AI can help re-invent their processes and business model.<strong><br>Market Assessment and Analysis (30%)</strong>: Conduct thorough industry and trend research, market analysis, and market sizing to address business challenges, evaluate potential M&A targets, and support Sales and Marketing growth for company investments.<strong><br>Value Creation and Transformation (20%):</strong> Identify, develop, and implement strategies to improve business performance at our portfolio companies. Collaborate with senior management at our portfolio companies to drive projects related to Pricing, Go-to-Market, Change Management / Organization, etc. <strong><br>Reporting and Dashboarding (10%):</strong> Create insightful reports and dashboards to consolidate key findings and provide data-driven insights for executive decision-making. Your role entails working closely with senior management and leaders to drive business growth within the company's portfolios.<strong><br></strong><strong><br></strong></p> <p><strong>Day-to-Day Responsibilities:</strong><strong></strong></p> <p> Conduct research and analysis to formulate strategy recommendations.<br> Analyze and synthesize key insights from diverse data sources to drive strategy and inform decision-making.<br> Support leaders in strategic planning and long-term business strategy </p> <p>Collaborate across departments like Finance, M&A, and portfolio teams for in-depth research and analysis.</p> <p>Assess organic growth opportunities and contribute to fostering a culture of innovation.</p> <p>Undertake any special projects as required.</p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br> Bachelors or masters degree in business, economics, engineering, or related fields.<br> 3-5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar analytical role, with a background in AI / software industry being<br>advantageous.<br> Strong strategic thinking skills to derive and deliver key insights from data.<br> Skilled in synthesizing trends and consolidating findings into meaningful, visually appealing formats for presentations to executives.<br> Excellent communication abilities, and a self-starter attitude.<br> High curiosity, passion for continuous learning and creative problem-solving.<br> Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel for effective reporting.<br> Sound knowledge of business financials and operations.<br> Demonstrated adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to travel occasionally<br>(<20% of the time).</p> <p></p>
