About the Opportunity
Our client, Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee is seeking a skilled and innovative BI Developer to join our Business Technology Solutions (BTS) team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about data, analytics, and AI-driven transformation. You'll design scalable BI solutions, integrate external data sources using lakehouse architecture, and lead automation initiatives using Microsoft Copilot, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Power BI dashboards and semantic models
- Build and optimize data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric
- Load and Transform data using python notebooks and SQL
- Integrate external data sources (APIs, ERP, cloud storage)
- Leverage AI tools to enhance reporting and decision-making
- Create low-code/no-code apps with Power Apps
- Automate workflows using Power Automate
- Collaborate with business teams on data and reporting requirements
- Mentor users and assist with data validation
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of Power BI development experience
- Expertise in Microsoft Fabric (or Azure Synapse) and lakehouse architecture
- Strong SQL, data warehousing and data integration skills
- Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and AI platforms
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and generative AI
- Solid understanding of data governance and reporting frameworks
- Python experience a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
