We are seeking an experienced and highly versatile individual to join our team in Oshawa, ON.


As a Business Development Officer, you will be a crucial ambassador for our company and its clients. Your primary responsibility will be to drive business growth by sourcing and recruiting top-level candidates across various industries and sectors.

The key to this role is effective salesmanship.

We need a seasoned professional with a strong background in B2B sales who can clearly convey the benefits of our job opportunities to potential candidates and clients.

Business Development Officer Duties:

  • Screen, recruit, and select candidates that fit clients’ needs
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, collect and screen applications
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions
  • Notify applicants of selection process results and prepare job offers
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Other duties as required
  • Business Development Officer Requirements:


  • Extensive experience and proven success in B2B sales and business development
  • Skilled in selling services and concepts
  • A valid G or G2 driver’s license with daily access to a vehicle
  • Experience in recruiting and/or human resources preferred
  • A university degree or college diploma in a field related to personnel management, recruitment, or human resources is an asset
  • Prior administrative or clerical experience
  • Proficient in MS Office software
  • Lives in or can commute daily to the office in Oshawa
  • Work Conditions:

  • Travel may be required
  • Ability to attend and conduct presentations
  • Overtime as required
  • Lifting or moving up to 10 lbs may be required
  • Note: These are the office hours and do not include backup on-call, recruiting, and/or client responsibilities.
