All our natural granite products are entirely sourced from deposits located across Northern Ontario. We manufacture our wide range of products in Sundridge, Ontario, while our sales office is in Kitchener, Ontario.



Job Purpose: The Business Development Representative is responsible for overseeing and managing all customer relationships, estimating and sales, and liaising with manufacturing staff to ensure all projects remain on time and on budget.


Reports To: President and Vice President


Job Responsibilities and Duties: Duties performed by the employee in this position include, but are not limited to, the following:


·     Proactively seek new sales opportunities in the market and field incoming inquiries from new and existing customers


·     Read and comprehend architectural drawings and complete material takeoff estimating by identifying customers’ needs and suggesting appropriate products

·     Manage customer relationship and project from start to finish – including collection of deposit on order, to scheduling manufacturing within the plant, to delivery of the product to the customer


·     Prepare work orders and assist with project scheduling on a priority-basis for the manufacturing plant, including internal projects and 3rd party cutting contracts


·     Liaise with Foreman at plant to manage and oversee employees (time off requests, overtime hours etc.) as needed


·     Coordinate all logistics and trucking for both raw material being delivered from local quarries to our plant, as well as finished material being delivered to customers

·     Courier granite samples to customers on an as-needed basis


·     Implement a tracking system to better monitor excess inventory products

·     Meet with architects, designers, landscapers and builders to present product offerings


·     Visit customers and plant in Sundridge on an as needed basis

Job Requirements:

·     2+ years of sales experience, construction/building material sales preferred


·     G-class license required (Ability to visit job sites on an as needed basis)

·     Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Business Administration and/or Construction Estimating will be seen as an asset


·     Strong work ethic, initiative, and attention to detail

·     Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment


·     Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·     Willingness to join and contribute to a dynamic team that fosters a positive and enjoyable work environment


·     Ability to analyze construction documents and drawings seen as an asset

·     Proficiency in Microsoft Office


·     Proficiency in QuickBooks will be seen as an asset

Schedule and Work Location:

·     8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday


·     Office setting in Kitchener, Ontario

·     This is an in-person office position
