<h3>The opportunity</h3>
<p>As a consultant at Sqills, you will guide our clients in modeling their business processes in our industry-leading Software as a Service (SaaS) product: S3 Passenger. With S3 Passenger, you will work with the most modern sales and reservation system on the market for rail operators.</p>
<h3>Asset skills and qualifications</h3>

<p>We are looking for mature consultants with hands-on experience helping clients by defining sustainable solutions for complex challenges. You understand market and consumer trends in public transport and build a deep understanding of our clients’ business as well as our S3 Passenger SaaS product. You can challenge the status quo and create solutions. We are open to welcome colleagues with a background in development and/or information/ business analysis.</p>
<h3>What will you need to succeed?</h3>
<ul>
<li>You have a University degree;</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a consultant or information analyst in IT;</li>
<li>Excellent commercial awareness; inquisitive about “the why”, the bigger picture and the commercial and operational value at play;</li>
<li>Proven track-record in eliciting and interpreting difficult problems and facilitate clients towards sustainable solutions (via interviews, workshops, fit/gap analysis, thorough documentation and many more);</li>
<li>Excellent at translating business objectives into IT needs;</li>
<li>Experienced in partnering-up with sales team following a solution selling approach (ideally in the SaaS/Product space) to sell-in and upsell;</li>
<li>Willing to travel to clients throughout the Americas;</li>
<li>Fluent in English, professional working proficiency in French and/or Spanish is a plus</li>
<li>Experience with Postman (or similar), Slack, Jira and Confluence is a plus;</li>
<li>You like having different responsibilities, working in small teams on challenging assignments.</li>
<li>Technicial Pre-sales and/or Project management experience is a plus</li>

<p>In Canada, Siemens Mobility has been providing solutions to the transportation industry for more than 40 years, including railway infrastructure maintenance services on the rail networks in Quebec and Ontario, light rail vehicles in Edmonton and Calgary, trainsets delivered to VIA Rail Canada, new trainsets for Ontario Northland that will bring back Northeastern passenger rail to Ontario that are expected to be delivered in 2026, an order for locomotives for Montreal’s exo and the rail electrification and overall system maintenance of the light rail transit network in Kitchener-Waterloo. Our footprint also includes dispatching services operated from Dorval, Québec, to more than 25 railways across Canada covering over 3,400 miles of track.</p>

<p>The successful candidate for this position must be bilingual. Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position for the following reasons:</p>

<li>The role requires interacting with English-speaking customers and suppliers across Canada and/or internationally;</li>
<li>The role requires regular interactions with Siemens colleagues based outside of Quebec, nationally and internationally;</li>
<li>The role requires using software or technology that is available only in English;</li>
<li>The role requires liaising with foreign regulatory and governmental agencies based in the United States and/or Europe;</li>
<li>(For management positions only) the role requires supervision of employees located outside of Quebec.</li>
