Title: Business Analyst
Location: Ottawa or Montreal - 2/3 days a week on-site
Duration: 1-year contract
Top Skills Required:
Business Analysis Experience in Financial Services or Investment Management
- Proven ability to analyse financial systems, reporting, and transaction management.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills to bridge business and technical teams.
Documentation & Requirements Development
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear and comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, user stories, technical specifications, training materials and standard operating procedures.
Other Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Knowledge of Power BI and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with solution governance and portfolio management.
Assets:
- Knowledge of eFront or similar financial platforms.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce CRMs.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or similar platform for data integration platforms.
- Experience in data governance and transformational data delivery.
- Understanding of configuration vs. customization in enterprise platforms.
Exposure to strategic planning and roadmap development.
