Job Title: Business Analyst
Contract Duration: 6 months
Pay range: C$50 – 60/hr
Location: Toronto, ON
Work Type: Hybrid, onsite twice a week, Monday – Friday – Core Business Hours

Job Description

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will analyze business requirements, identify process improvements, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver successful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize business processes and recommend solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, building strong relationships and managing expectations.
• Project Management: Contribute to project planning, tracking, and risk management.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
• Solution Design: Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that meet business needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of capital markets, back-office operations, and securities settlements.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, PowerBI) and project management methodologies.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Industry Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CBAP) are a plus.
