<p>Summary<br>JOB DESCRIPTION<br>We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated<br>BAS & Network Support Specialist<br>to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in desktop and server environments, network infrastructure, and building automation systems (BAS). You will play a key role in supporting field technicians, maintaining network hardware, and ensuring seamless connectivity across various platforms.</p><p>Key Duties & Responsibilities<br>BAS & Network Support</p><ul><li>Provide desktop support for Windows environments (Windows 7 through 11).</li><li>Manage and troubleshoot Linux servers, primarily Ubuntu LTS.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve IP network issues, including ISP routers, switches, and security appliances.</li><li>Maintain and configure routers and firewalls, including Cisco Meraki and Cradlepoint devices.</li><li>Support various internet connection types: Cellular, DSL, Cable, Fiber, and Fixed Wireless.</li><li>Troubleshoot BAS networks, including Niagara 4 and similar controllers.</li><li>Utilize Niagara 4 Supervisor and Workbench for system management (experience preferred).</li><li>Conduct technical product research and provide recommendations.</li><li>Support and maintain BAS protocols such as BACnet/IP and MTSP (knowledge preferred).</li><li>Work with cloud and virtualization platforms such as Azure, AWS, and virtual desktops/servers.</li><li>Use remote access tools (RDP, SSH, web portals) to manage systems.</li><li>Perform data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.</li><li>Provide third-level technical support to field technicians and liaise with vendor support</li></ul><p>Experience Requirements</p><ul><li>Proven experience with Windows desktop and Linux server environments.</li><li>Strong understanding of IP networking and troubleshooting.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki, Cradlepoint, and other network appliances.</li><li>Familiarity with BAS systems, especially Niagara 4.</li><li>Knowledge of BACnet/IP and MTSP is an asset.</li><li>Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and virtualization tools.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for working with technicians and support desks.</li></ul>Create Your Resume First
