JOB DESCRIPTION
S+L Langley is on the lookout for skilled bartenders who bring equal parts precision, personality, and professionalism. If you have strong cocktail knowledge, thrive under pressure, and know how to create memorable bar experiences, this is your spot behind the bar.
Responsibilities:
- Executing food and drink orders in a timely manner
- Ensuring food and drink quality meets JRG standards
- Communicating all current JRG promotions to guests
- Handling cash and credit transactions
- Adhering to JRG Policies and Procedures including daily implementation of the 18 Steps of Service
- Assisting with daily and weekly scheduled environment cleaning practices
- Hours and shifts may vary. Includes working evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Staff discount at all JRG locations and discounted meals during shifts
- Opportunity for full-time staff to participate in the Company’s Extended Health Benefits Plan after 6 months of employment
- Access to ongoing training and development through Joseph Richard University (JRU)
- Opportunity for advancement throughout all JRG establishments and divisions
*Wage negotiable, based on experience
REQUIREMENTS
- Serving It Right Certification
- Thorough understanding of responsible alcohol service
- Relevant industry experience paired with extensive wine and cocktail knowledge
- Occupational First Aid Level 1 preferred, but not required
